I have a Cable X in my 4L80E equipped 71 Chevelle and when I was faced with the same for my T56 equipped 73 Vega, I just didn't have the room under the dash. Instead I followed a couple different threads by ls1nova1 and converted my 130 mph Vega GT speedo to electronic using the guts from a '93 Corsica cluster (I bought off ebay for $35). My buddy Rubens 3D printed a couple brackets, and it wasn't that difficult. The hardest part was removing the extra digit from the electronic odometer.
