Quick question about routing to an expansion tank. Using this diagram as a reference, does it make a difference with the plumbing if I'm not using a heater core? I was thinking of teeing into the heater bypass loop and connecting to the bottom of the expansion tank. Seems like a convenient way to do it, but convenient doesn't mean effective.

I don't post much here, but I've learned a lot from this forum. Currently installing an LS3 in a Factory Five Roadster.
