Default V6 to v8 Silverado swap help needed

Got a 2006 Silverado rcsb that originally had a v6 doing a v8 swap got a gen 3 5.3 that came out of a 2001 Tahoe decided to use a a blue green wiring harness and added in the iac controller wiring to keep dbc as the truck originally had it sent the original pcm that came with the motor for tuning to delete vats and change the vin on it as well and now got it all put together and I’m getting a no crank no start went through some diagnosing and was told the pcm could be the issue decided to try to use the original pcm for the truck and the motor cranked kinda confused on what I need to do any help is appreciated

The 01 PCM is different and will not work with the 06 wiring.That's why it cranked with the 06 PCM.

so can I use a blue green pcm out of 2003 or 2004 van that has dbc

I remember seeing something about not all of the blue green ECU's have the right hardware to drive a DBC throttlebody. There is a missing chip on the ECU board. May need to hunt down the right ECU and flash your existing tune to it.

You can as long as its from a DBC set up or has the correct chip inside. Just make sure you have the correct tune in it. You can not use the 99-02 tune files in those PCM's.
