What's everyone using to control the PWM fans in their swap projects??
My old windstar fans work just fine in the wagon, but can never leave well enough alone.
I'm thinking about using Volt fans this time.
Just wondering if there is any of the controllers that shine over the rest??

Basically all modern cars use PWM. Take a tape measure to the junkyard and grab whatever fits the bill. Chances are good the PWM controller will be attached to the shroud. From there it's a matter of figuring out what power/ground it needs and what frequency the PWM uses
If you need something well documented, look at 2010ish Ford cars. Fusions are the most common with the same controller as C6 corvettes. Ford SUVs of that era have a more compact dual fan controller in the same frequency
The Dodge mini-van controller is also viable, but harder to access in the junkyard (under the bumper). Aftermarket versions do not last as long as JY pulls in my experience
GEN IV/V GM ECMs and most aftermarket ECUs all offer PWM outputs to run these controllers

I have to apologize, I should have been more clear. Going to use these fans in the old L59 powered wagon. No plans to replace the 0411 PCM with aftermarket ECU. Just thinking stand alone controller.
Pretty much have my mind set to use Chevy Volt fans.
Thanks Old Buzzard...I guess I never thought to search in the Forced Induction section.
