Default Ls3 softer style engine mounts

Hey,
It's been a long time away from the forum, I am looking for some advice with my engine swap. I have stock GTO?? engine mounts and was looking for something that might do a better job absorbing vibration.
Any ideas??

Unless you have a nasty-loping cam, there should be no vibration.
Are you getting too much vibration, or too much movement??

What kind of shape are the old mounts? The vette and gto mounts were known to leak the oil inside them. Possible your old ones are just shot.

YOU KNOW this is going to sound a real lame, but I don't remember just what ls mounts I have. They are factory ones, but I didn't think they were oil filled. I will snap a picture and post it tomorrow. I got a set of Hinson mounts, but they feel verry hard??? Haven't installed them as yet ...

SO, I did find my mounts were oil filled and leaking, I Think they failed because I jack up the drivetrain when replacing the clutch. At this point I don't often hammer the throttle LOL At 69 years old explaining a smoke show to a cop would be strange and expensive LOL.

Possible that you made them leak, but they are also known to do it on their own just sitting still.
glad you found the issue.
