Vintage air vs. Classic Auto vs. electic compressor AC?
Vintage air vs. Classic Auto vs. electic compressor AC? Vintage Air: I installed Vintage air on my LS swap about 20 years ago. Works well, but had to recalibrate about once a year.
Classic auto Air: Installed the old cable operated HCV and air door universal system about 15 years ago on another swap. Simple, reliable but no separation between defrost and heat. but now I see they have an electric kit that addresses this now. Anyone installed on of the new ones? Also curious if anyone sells a version of their old kit, I like the simplicity.
Electric compressor kits: I see these for about 1/2 the price of the above kits. I see they require a lot of amps (around 60A?) but with some LS motors having upward of 200amps, doubt if that's a problem. Anyone know if these work well?
