Default lm7 with a trailblazer intake.

So I picked the trailblazer intake for the extra power. The first thing I found in my wiring harness is for a drive by cable. So there is no plug for the throttle body. Do I have to find a trailblazer ss engine harness? Or can I add the wiring to this one. Also will the computer work with the dbw ss throttle body. I see that there is a adapter plate to use the 3 bolt dbc throttle body but that seems silly to put a smaller tb on a bigger intake. Btw I had the heads cnc ported and it has a sloppy stage 2 cam.

I'd just use an inexpensive DBC throttle body. A lot of people like the WARR throttle bodies.

Yea that'd be a 4 bolt cable Throttle Body, easy to find. Honestly if you're staying with a 5.3l the stock 3 bolt Throttle Body would be fine with that adapter, just sayin.

I used the Warr Throttle Body with my TBSS intake. I just had to adapt the stock throttle bracket to the TBSS intake since it didn't have the bolt holes for the cable bracket.

I did pick up a new throttle body. Now who is a good choice to relearn my ecu? I dont know anyone but it would be nice to find someone local to the Houston area.

I called around and most folks wanted me to bring the truck on a trailer and then wanted 900 to tune plus 2 credits for 50, whatever that means. I thought about it and called Texas speed. They turned me on to a company called mail order tuners. $300 bucks and they will bench tune it and he says it should be right on the money.

That is way over priced for a tune, greedy scumbags.

Credits are what unlocks the PCM. Need 2 for most so $100 there. The fact they they wanted that ontop of the tune....
