Help with swap tcc wiring Hello. First post long time reader. I have a lm7/ 4l60 swap in a 82 k/10. Truck had a lm7 with 350th in it when I got it. Switch to 4l60 with a bp automotive add a harness for trans. Problem I have is truck won’t move. Put in gear and give it gas it sputters and dies. Trans pump is working tested it today. Not sure if I have the tcc switch hooked up correctly or not. Have pink wire from harness hooked to pink wire to tcc switch which then goes to switch 12v. Trans is not throwing any codes. Fluid looks good and full. This trans was a rebuild I bought and I have zero miles on it.

If you suspect that the TCC could be “commanded” on electrically then you can just disconnect the transmission connector and see if the problem goes away. If you are worried that there is a valve or something in the transmission causing the TCC to stick on then you could unbolt the torque converter and see if it still dies. Maybe it just needs to be properly tuned though and the normal load from the transmission is causing it to die.
