Default LS1 to LSX Based engine swap

Was wondering how hard it would be to swap a LS1 from a 4th gen Camaro to the LSX Based Long block shown here https://www.lsxceleration.com/bluepr...ck-psls42730ct and also what Intake manifold to pair with it and how to get it to work properly with the Factory LS1 Wiring harness (If that's even possible) And if not, what wiring harness I need to get for it, I already know that I would need a 58x to 24x reductor converter to get that to work with the LS1 Wiring Harness, but what else would I need?

I would ask if they can swap to a 24x and 1x reluctor rings if you're spending that kind of money. Would make your life way easier. If you are staying with a stock ECU, I'd run something like a FAST intake and run either a 92/102 TB with the stock style IAC and TPS sensors. The MAP sensor would be the only other thing and you can get an extension harness to run in the front position, or drill the rear hole for the stock position. If they can swap the reluctor ring and you run the 1x cam wheel it would be a direct swap.

100% doable

Drill and tap for knock sensors and get the extension harness from TSP. Also get the cam position sensor harness to connect to the front timing chain cover and I'd also move the MAP sensor to the front of the intake and yes go with a FAST intake and a Nick Williams throttle body. That crate is 58x and your car is a 24x and you will need a converter to use the 58x engine. I built mine with a 24x reluctor on the crank and puchased the LS2 timing cover and used a 24x crank sensor so it would be plug and play with the 411 ECM

BTW the picture is not showing an LSX block. LSX blocks have provisions for 6 bolt cylinder heads.

Yes definitely not an issue as stated above. Would be like swapping any GEN 4 LS, just factor in the added weight penalty.

I wanted to comment on this package itself, after looking into the block, bore, and stroke, I was going to state concern for being a small bore/long stroke setup but after researching their block, this seems like a pretty cool item for the price. Thanks OP for sharing.

Ethe Summit block looks interesting. The added .250 increased cylinders is huge. Perfect for strokers.

id ask Blue Print exactly what block do they use. What brand valves and springs too. Knowing that the heads are their own casting, I’d be curious. 🧐
