Smile Wondering how to combine 5.3 with tr-6060

Hey, i'm new to the ls world, and i was wondering what i should use to complete my ls swap. I have a 95 Mercedes Benz E320 Special Edition that i want to put a manual ls in, so i've settled on the 5.3 with the tr-6060, however i do not know whether these two will bolt straight together, or if they need some sort of adapter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just fyi i plan on using a universal ls engine mount kit and modifying original trans mount to fit, as well as using a front sump oil pan like what's in the gto if necessary (haven't checked oilpan clearance)

Here’s a similar post to you question. It should
have a few answers, took me about 0.01 seconds to search for it…….

Thanks, I saw that one, but I am still not sure of what I need to mate the two, it just happens that I do not have a Camaro, so I'm not sure if I need to use the same parts or not. I have absolutely no experience in the world of the LS.

Ah, so as long as you use the tr6060 flywheel clutch and pressure plate, not the 5.3 one then they bolt right up?

Copied from post* Clutch wise, the splines are the same and the flywheel teeth are the same, so you can technically go with any factory LS style T56 or TR6060 clutch/flywheel.

I plan on purchasing them within the next week, I was waiting until I was sure the combo would be good. Do you have any recommendations? Do certain engines/trans from different makes and models not work together?
