Hey, i'm new to the ls world, and i was wondering what i should use to complete my ls swap. I have a 95 Mercedes Benz E320 Special Edition that i want to put a manual ls in, so i've settled on the 5.3 with the tr-6060, however i do not know whether these two will bolt straight together, or if they need some sort of adapter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just fyi i plan on using a universal ls engine mount kit and modifying original trans mount to fit, as well as using a front sump oil pan like what's in the gto if necessary (haven't checked oilpan clearance)
Thanks, I saw that one, but I am still not sure of what I need to mate the two, it just happens that I do not have a Camaro, so I'm not sure if I need to use the same parts or not. I have absolutely no experience in the world of the LS.
Copied from post* Clutch wise, the splines are the same and the flywheel teeth are the same, so you can technically go with any factory LS style T56 or TR6060 clutch/flywheel.

Oh nice, thanks for the help. Might post the process on here if I remember to.
What year TR-6060 and what did it come out of? Lots of different makes and models had this transmission
I plan on purchasing them within the next week, I was waiting until I was sure the combo would be good. Do you have any recommendations? Do certain engines/trans from different makes and models not work together?
I would definitely post on here, there is alot of guys with valuable knowledge here. There is also a few guys on YouTube who have done this swap and posted how to videos.
