You came on an LS forum and expect people to not try to steer you to an LS? No one is telling you to **** off. There are just myriad reasons for doing the swap. I'm a Pontiac guy, my first car was a '77 Pontiac Grand Prix and my third car was a '72 GTO. If I were to build a classic Pontiac, I'd still put an LS in it, unless it was a rare model.
Well, I apologize, that's not how I meant to come off...it's just that you've spent 90% of this thread trying to convince anyone that wants to help with your LS questions how much faster, cheaper, easier, better, it is to go with your 400. So I don't know why you're still here...
Feel its the other way around. You come to an LS forum and ask for help making a decision. People list the facts and explain why the Pontiac Motor is a boat anker at best. YOU are the one that is saying "Agree with me completely or **** off",... not us! Lol. You’ll have 2-3x the money and half the fun in the Pont. motor. So at this point its just a personal prefrence to stick with it. Which is fine, but don’t get pissy at us for attempting to change your mind.
