Default Adapting 97-04 Corvette style accelerator pedal

I am hoping Someone has adapted the ls1 corvette pedal to a 1972 A body. Particularly a cutlass. I can’t find any brackets online for this pedal type and model car.

Can you not use a 6.5/8.1L GMT400 pedal and just swap the pedal pad? The truck pedal has the same electronics but uses the same old 3 bolt mounting pattern GM used for years on various vehicles. They bolt right into the older C/K trucks and other 70s and 80 stuff.

Remember that the pedal and TAC module must be compatible. I was under the impression that the C5 Corvette pedals were unique along with their matching TAC.

yea that was sort of my understanding as well. Which is why I was surprised that it is so difficult to find any aftermarket website that makes a bracket for it. I have the pedal and matching tac module but the cutlass that this came out of already has the newer style pedal and bracket so I want able to see what they had done previously.

So don't know if this helps. I needed to fab a bracket to bolt in a DBW pedal in my 80 Camaro with a LS3 swap.
Pics.

The TAC and the TB must match. There`s a lot more gray area with the pedal and TAC / PCM and TAC interchange. The 99-04 vette uses the exact same resistance range as the 04/05 CTS-V and the current replacement options for the 04/05 CTS-V is to use a vette pedal or the GMT400 pedal as the CTS-V pedal is long discontinued. So the GMT400 pedal will work with the full plastic 99-04 vette/ 04-05 CTS-V TAC. The GMT400 pedal will also work with the 03-05 aluminum/plastic TAC. I don`t know for sure that it will work with the 06-07 classic TAC or the 07 only Express van TAC, but I think it will.
