I'm planning on fabbing a rack and pinion set up to work with my 1st Gen Camaro. I want to put it between the sump of the oil pan and the subframe, so basically where the drag link is. However I need to know whether I can fit it back there at the height I want.

SO.... If someone could take measurements of the demintions of the space between the subframe and oil pan, as well as how much space I would have above where the drag link sits that would be awesome. And pictures would be even better.

I probably should mention that it's a for 1st Gen Camaro with S&P adapter plates and S&P modified oil pan.
