been thinkin abuot buyin a 86 fiero GT what do u guys think about them in general

I'm not sure they are any different though.

They can do a LT/LS swap in them. They are a great cornering car. If you did the V8 swap they can run 11's with a stock LS1 due to not weighing anything. I have a friend/co worker that the whole family of brothers own 4 or 5 of them.

I have a friend that has a superchaged grand prix motor and it ran a 8.22 @85 mph in the 1/8 on street tires and stock boost
