Default quick question about throttle body

i was just workin on the car and then something came to me about the throttle body. i know how most people do the throttle body bypass mod, but i was wondering, how am i supposed to do this mod if my radiator doesnt have the opening on it that connects to the coolant lines?!? so i am just curious on what yall did about this? any help is appreciated thanks!

I would get a radiator that had the coolant hook up. It is important for ls1(aluminum) to have the right coolant system; that part is suppose to keep air bubbles from blocking flow. A radiator shop can weld a fitting to it; probably easier to get a new radiator.

Are you talking about the coolant lines that go through the TB or the steam tube that goes across the ends of the heads?

The TB tubes don't matter but the steam tube does. I tee'd into the upper radiator hose and connected the steam tube into there. No cooling problems so far. (I can't find a pic of it right now but I know that there's some around here somewhere.)

Its the same tube. He is bypassing the tb but doesnt know where to connect to. I never thought about t-ing into another hose. How did you connect the two different size hoses?

Here's one idea (courtesy of 67ls1CamaroProject):

Or the way this Holden HSV show car was done: http://www.supercars.net/cars/2002@$HSV@$HRT%20427%20Conceptg.html

I can't seem to find a decent picture of mine. It's like the first one, except that it's tee'd into the upper rad hose as it goes across in front of the engine.

HTH.
