Problem w/ startup Need help

So last night i wgot the car( 68 Camaro RS/SS) ready for the initial startup. I got all the fuel lines run and all the wiring done. I have the VATS removed from the pcm. But it doesnt even get power

. I dont have power to lights or anything. Im reading 12v over the battery and starter solenoid. Nothin will power up at all. There has to be a drain on the system. I installed the fuel pump relay correctly. And nothin will turn on

. So i disconnected the realy thinking that might be the problem but still now luck. I only know basic electornics so im no help. Does anybody have any suggestion?

I forgot to mention i got everything working yesterday. It would turn over yesterday and i had power to everything i just couldnt turn it on b/c i didnt have the fuel lines run yet or the pcm tuned.

Are you blowing fuses?

from an external view i dont see any problems w/ the fuses but i havent taken them out of the fuse box yet cet for a few.

Did you inspect the fusible links? I don't have an old Camaro wiring diagram in front of me, but I seem to recall a fusible link on the main power line to the fusebox. It is usually the first six inches or so of the wire coming off the starter. A blown fusible link will be soft and have a bubbly sort of appearance to the insulation.

nope havent checked but will check first thing tomorrow. not sure if it applies to my application though. but will find out.

K so i talked to madman and checked everything out. Iv got power to the starter solenoid. but iv got no power at the fuse box or ignition switch. So he thinks the only thing it could be would be the problem w/ the 2 wires going to the ignition switch and fuse box. sound correct? It makes sense to me.
