ls1 in a 69 camaro questions?
If you put a LS1 in that beutiful car you will sink a bunch of money and hard work only to de-value the car big time!!!!I got 3 words for you DON"T DO IT!!!!LS1"s are great but that car of yours is FINE the way it is!!!Its a CLASSIC!!!!!!DDI!!!!!
it's not like i'm selling the car in the next 10 years probably - i wanna have it the way i want it - not what makes it worth the most money...
make sense?
Mine was just a base SS and had no matching parts so I felt ok with jerking around with it the way I have.. besides the LS1 just looks SO GOOD in there
what i wanna know is, other than the oil pump, fuel pump, and motor mounts, what else do you have to buy to make this work in the car? can i use the stock transmission crossmember, and just move it and drill new holes? we're trying to stay on a tight budget, so i'm just looking out for ourselves before we get deep into it.
i know a lot of people ask this, but i'm just making sure.
thanks guys! here's some pics of my car, Evelyn:
