????Air intake hot to the touch????

We made the air intake out of exhaust pipe. Its gets hot to the touch after the motor is good and hot. I was wondering if there is anything esle I can use to get the temp done. I was thinking about getting it power coated or something any ideals?

really the only part that get hot is the 90 degree elbow that connects with the intake. The funny thing is that the elbow gets hotter than the intake. I guess it would since the intake has been coated.

Who would PVC pipe work? Has anyone use this before?

It would be nice if I had a intake pipe like this or something like this.

Tony's intake tube is still metal and I'll bet it still gets heat soaked. Something out of plastic might be better for heat rejection.

That might work. I would like to have mine shooting straight into the fender. Like we fabed up the metal one. I wonder if two of those would work inline with each other could it make inside the fender.
