Default LS1 in an LT1 Z28

I was woundering if an ls1 will bolt into or with little mod. fit into a 94 z28 m6 because i have a line on a real cheap ls1?

Yeah if I am not mistaken it will bolt right in. All you need is an ls1 k-member and motor mounts and then you might have to move the tranny crossmember a little bit shouldnt be much. Are you putting in an auto or another 6-speed. ps I am sure you know this but thought I would mention it anyways, your current 6 speed wont bolt to the ls1. so you will have to use the matching tranny too. Let me know how it goes.

yeah the ls1 comes with a tranny and everything so all i should need is the k member for an ls1 and the mounts thanks

You'll need the steering rack too. You may have to do a little work on the tranny crossmember.

I thought I heard that it was a bit more complicated than this. Something about the gages not working properly etc? I could be remembering it wrong, but I thought I heard it wasn't such an easy swap.
