the weather got nice here sunday (60+) so I fired it right up and let her run for a while and cleaned her off. WHOA MAN the LS1 sounds SO GOOD thru cherry bombs and this car is gonna be a sick daily driver! I believe it will be a handful on the autox courses around here... with "just" 275's out back I probably cant mash the throttle without breaking loose and wagging the tail like crazy, even on Rcompound race tires, so Ive thought seriously about a widebody setup to run 12" wide wheels out back and 11" up front. Thats a lot of money for new super-wide wheels and tires that wide, like what, $3000 more? Even if I do the bodywork myself it sure will be time consuming... but who knows, maybe I'll go for it by summertime. I'll have to tease Rx-Ben to post pics of his widebody LS1FC online here so you guys see the potential of the 1986-1991 RX7's with LS1 swaps... its ridiculous.
