i put a 97 lt1 in my 95 s-10. u can puy the painless wireing harness but it will run u about 600 for the newer lt1 and 400 for the older i am not sure on the years but i think 96 and 97 are the newer years. if u dont go with the painless like i did. i got the pin connector views for alldata. it shows what wire it is and what it goes to. u splice the harness into your rams harness using the connector views. also u need to know if the pcm has the vats system "vehicle anti theft system" bc if u do u have to buy this buy pass chip because the computer sences it is being stolen and cuts out the fuel injectors. u can buy the "GM VATS or PASSkey II Bypass Module For LS1 and LT1" on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW i have it and it works great. that was the hardest part of my build because i didnt know about it and i couldnt keep the engine running. if u got anymore questions just ask
