Default Is the truck ecm the same as F-body?

I have a 2000 camaro LT1 I'm putting into a kit car. I also have the computer out of a 2002 silverado truck. From what I heard so far the 6.0L the LS1 and the LQ4 all use the same computer, but I truely question this...Anybody have any idea?

2000 Camaros came with LS1 engines, not LT1.

The parts interchange data shows 2000 Camaro LS1 PCMs are interchangeable with a broad range of trucks, including the 2002 Silverado assuming it wasn't a V-6.

The microcode on the truck PCM won't be very compatible, plan on needing an SPS reflash.

Well said,
the ls1 comp are all interchangeable......with a flash...they were built generic for all v-8 vehicles in mind.

The pcm is the same but you have to have a custom tune to turn off the PASSLOCK theft deterent so the engine will run when finished.
