Default 98 flexplate & th350, who had to grind?

I'm about to order the 98 flexplate, 12563532 spacer and 12563533 bolts to use with a th350. How many found this to be a direct bolt in? Who had to elongate some holes? I don't want any surprises.

When I had my th400 in the car, i never used any spacers. Just one washer on each bolt between the TC and the flexplate.

depends on your converter. my mock-up converter needed the holes elongated but when i got my new converter it was a different bolt pattern and a different set of holes on the flexplate lined up perfectly.
