Dreaded Wiring - help and diagrams needed
Dreaded Wiring - help and diagrams needed So I'm about to get started on the dreaded wiring, on my 93 RX7 with a 2000LS1. I have the wiring for the RX, but I dont have pinouts of the LS1. Does anyone have the diagrams/pinouts that they could post up or email me with at payne05 ~at~ stanford.edu
A list of questions, if you might help out a 21 year old kid trying to do this on his own.
1. Where are you inputting 12V constant?
2. Where do I need 12V switched?
3. Do I need 5V anywhere?
4. Where are you grounding on the block?
5. What does the starter need to see on the small post? 12V when cranking?
6. How do you wire up the clutch depressed kill switch?
7. What did you do to wire up the fuel pump? Im just using a stock LS1 pump
8. What do you wish you knew when you started wiring that you know now?
Sorry for the laundry list of questions, Im having knee surgery the 29th and really want to get her done before then so that I dont have to drive my jetta around for another 3 months

Um you will need to hook up the grounds just like you would in a fbody the ones on the back of the heads. The LS1 wireing harness is pretty self contained unit. I will get all the pin outs for you hopefully monday or tusday so that you will be able to see what wires go to what. When i helped my broether put on in his 95 there werent to many wires that you really have to hook up to make the Ls1 run.
