Where/how to find a motor and trans

i did alot of research on it.. hawks has a rep in the thirdgen fbody world for being a good, honest company. if theres a problem, he(bruce, the owner) does his best to work it out with you. he has VERY VERY few dis satisfied customers... one of the reasons i chose him is BECAUSE i know hes had problems in the past... and everytime, he went above and beyond to solve thoes problems... add in that hes resonably priced and within a 3hour driving distance from me, and my choice was clear.
i waited until hehad a clean, low mile 2002 Fbody LS1 with a 6 spd and snapped it up.
id reccomend calling him first. phone number is on his website.
thats a KILLER deal.
i wish i could have done that around here!

I have found that the deal you get is based primarily on the part of the country that the seller is in...not too many deals like this in SoCal.
