LS1 Cobra hybrid?
It would probably be under 2500lbs and have 500hp to start...
If they can fit a 427 Ford big block under those hoods, why not a modern aluminum Chevy small block?
And I like the comment about a Chevy finally having a Ford engine under the hood...lol Has that ever happened? And what would be the purpose????

speaking of kit cars, a GT40 kit car with a genIII/genIV motor would kickass too. classic ford, chevy power.

Unit where you at?Magnacharger power output is limited by the blower size. So, it won't make more power on an LS7 compared to an 4.6L. It would probably even choke the 427ci LS7. My supercharged LS6 puts down 500 rwhp with only 8.5 lbs of boost. With a pulley change I might see 12 psi. Not much more than Cobras are getting with stock blowers (Both Eatons)
But, my 10.87 is already quicker than the quickest '03 Cobra running all-blower (no nitrous) and with the stock blower. Pretty sad considering I've only taken it to the track one time on slicks, and its a showcar
oooooh! i like! it has thoes flowing GT racer lines i love so much...
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
The blue oval FFR crowd seems pissed that its a chevy block, but not one persons bitches about the porsche transaxle.
Any idea what the trans TQ is capable of?
yea right you know how much you would have to hack that 7 up to get that wide *** motor in there. yo would even have to cut up a F body to get that big ****** in there too!
Fox body notchback + LS1 + nitrous = winner

Fox body coupe + LS1 + cam + nitrous..
I'm thinking of putting a 6.0 and a TH350 in a super clean V6 mid 90's V6 mustang for the ultimate sleeper.
Header availability is really the only thing stopping me from going with this project.
And if you're doing heads and cam, start with an LS1 instead, it'll be much cheaper and end up with the same power.
