?LS1 70 Chevelle?

Anyone on here put a LS1 into a 1970 chevelle? Pics would be nice and how hard it was.

I've been wanting to put a ls1 in a 70 Chevelle SS/or clone. Although at this point it would be either a ls2 stroker, or in the future a modded ls7

I'd like to beef up the suspension but make it look as stock as possible on the exterior, i'll still even have a set of factory wheels for "cruzin" and shows.

Do a search for "chevelle" in the hybrid section. A few members here have done the conversion. A few companies even make the necessary conversion components.

Someone did a 5.3, it was in the last month issue of GM high tech peformance.
