Got some headers for my 280Z conversion. Here’s some pics. The headers have 1 ¾" tubes and 3" flanges. I had to trim the block on the drivers side to clear one of the pipes and my oil pressure switch is gonna have to move. I also had to cut the block to make room for the engine mount on the passenger side. You can see that in the pic, it’s up close to the front of the engine.
Yes they are Sandersons. I have all the mounts in the car and the engine is ready to go in. Just looking for a nice weekend to bolt it all in. Then it's all the little detail stuff like fuel pump and lines, exhaust, and cooling. I guess around spring I should be on the road, but it is a swap and I am slow.
Did all the scary stuff a while back. Stuff like cutting out the transmission mounts from the tunnel with a sawzall , and ripping out all the unused wires, removing the stock tach and speedo and tossing in autometer stuff, cutting chunks of aluminum off of the block for the headers and for the passenger mount, etc...

hate to poke a dead post, but anyone have any fitment issues for installing JBA shorty headers from GTO for a LS1 (or vortec LS Series) in a 1977 or similar Datsun 280z?
Want to know before I try to travel to different state to pick them up for a good price.
Before you say I havent included enough info, all I have to go on is that they are from a 2004-2006 GTO
I'd prefer to avoid any modification to them as you all know this swap requires enough modification haha.
