c3 vette headers Got a question for the vette guys. I have a 99 ls1/t56 in a 77 corvette. I need headers.... Does anyone make a set that will bolt on? I have tryed street and performance but the ones they sent me will not fit. I think they were the street rod headers. I am willing to pay to have them custom made but I was quoted at 1800.00 for the headers alone. Any help would be nice.

I would try buying a set of Hedman LS1 Camaro headers. $200 and purchase some extra pieces of tubing bends. Cut and paste as needed. Make marks and have them tig'ed. Your option on coatings. That is the route I am going. I'm also looking at BB vette headers and buying flanges from Hedman.
Scooter is using ZO6 manfold, I'm using the stock LS1's.

Scooter is looking too. Lane was working on some custom headers that he thought would fit "many" vehicles but I'm not sure if that included our cars. Your other option is to buy some Ford headers and weld on LS1 flanges.
