Has anybody tried the GMP accessory drives in a 68-72 Nova.
I am about to start the conversion from 350 to an LS3 using a connect and cruise package but need a complete front accessory drive.
The GM stuff pn 19155067 looks like the AC compressor may clear the sub frame.
The price of the GM kits are almost a third of the cost of the billet stuff and my car will be a driver not a show car.
Help me with some comments if you have tried the kits in a Nova.

If you have a truck or Camaro setup, you might want to look into the new Holley brackets:
http://www.holley.com/types/LS%20Swa...y%20Drives.asp
As far as I can tell, it has a similar arrangement to the C5/C6 system, but it has spacers available to work with the Camaro or truck balancers, plus it will work with the less expensive truck alternators.

2010-11 Camaro part numbers were very helpful. Thank you for posting.
Does this accessory drive have the same offset as Corvette/CTS? Or is it the same as the truck offset?

I'm considering a supercharger which requires alignment with the Vette accessory drive. Anyone have a definitive list of parts I need to buy to modify the f-body accessory drive in my car to be a Vette LS3 drive? Anyone know how well the Vette upper-right alternator location works with the ABS pump lines & hood fitment?

Anyone run into issues with the corvette accessory drive with the low a/c unit not clearing the crossmember? I've got a 68 Cutlass and I've got a shop dropping in a crate 376/525 LS3, and they've run into a clearance issue with the compressor and the crossmember. I'm using Muscle Rods engine mounts and the GM Performance a/c drive kit (which GM said would work in my application). I called GM back and they had no options that they knew would work. Anyone know a fix?

Kwik lists the fitment as follows:
"LS1 LS2 Sanden Air Conditioner Compressor Bracket
Allows mounting of a Sanden air conditioning compressor on an LS1, LS2, LS6, or LS7 engine out of a Corvette, Camaro, GTO, or truck."
It doesn't list their part for an LS3, so I'll have to call them and see. Thanks.

I took a look at the Holly one and it does look like a nice factory-style drive. It makes the short list. I like to talk to the company before purchasing, just to be sure I know what else is needed for the install. Glad to hear it works for you too. That's good information. Thanks.
