Default pics of my ls1 240z swap

here is some pics of my 73 datsun 240z with a 2000 ls1/4l60e combo in it. i also back halfed the car and put a disk brake 9" rear end in it out of a 76 lincon continental. had to narrow it over 11 inches. its 4 linked, with hal QA1 coilovers and the gas tank is from a 2002 trans am. i have done every single thing on this car myself so far, even narrow the rear end. i also had never back halfed a car before this either. just did alot of research and asked alot of questions. let me know what you think. it will look alot better i think with the 13" meats out back.

my goal is to have about 2 or 3 feet of air under the front tires when i am done!

Looks like a cool project. I wouldnt worry about haters. Most of the time when someone says a project looks bad, is because they are a checkbook mechanic and have never seen anything in the "in progress " stage.

You will love the ls1 power. My 240z runs 11.1 on radials and stock heads.

Most of the time projects need to be broken down before you can build them up. "Checkbook mechanics don't see this part of it. Besides that, are "checkbook mechanics" really mechanics or are they just "wanna be" mechanics? Kool project ;keep going and don't worry about the haters....If you have to explain it to them , they would not understand.

i used to be into street bikes alot and i had a old factoy header from a bike i had that was titanium. figured i use it somewhere on the car and looked at making headers for it out of a couple of them but they were only inch and a half tubes. so i came up with that. you can pick those factory headers up for really cheap on ebay too.
