LS1/LT1 into A 93-97 Firebird

LS1/LT1 into A 93-97 Firebird May have the opportunity to purchase a Firebird here in a couple weeks that's a V6. How hard would it be to swap in an LS1 or an LT1. The car will only see strip duty. Trying to decide if it'd be more feasible to do this or just swap in a SBC instead. I've already got a 350 setting in the garage, but would like to go with the LS1/LT1 for the added benefits it would have over a SBC. Just trying to get some input.
The cost is high for all the little things you need for the ls1 swap. IE Headers, harness gauges,acceserys,fule, but the power is great. It would be a lot cheeper to put a SB in the car but I vote for the LS1.
