and they didn't even think about using the stock transaxle (granted it was twin turbo 1070 hp).
If you really want an LSx powered Civic hatchback go with a mid/rear format like this. But please, if you do it, badge the car properly so the source of your door blowing power is known.

1 look cool
2 Be a light weight chassis
3 handle well
4 be a classic/rare/desirable car/clone
I don't see a honda falling into any of these.
