corvette LS6 in a 93 camaro possible? has it been done?

IS 93 a 4th gen ?? Try a SEARCH !

yes a 93 is a fourth gen and yes you could put a LS6 in it, people do ls1/6 conversions to that body style all the time

Somebody is gonna ask this eventually, so it might as well be me....

WHY???

Why not just get the 93 all shined up and pretty and sell it outright, then go and buy yourself a 98 model and do a head/cam swap? You will come out WAAAAAAY ahead financially to do this. I'm sure the cost of a decent LS6 drivetrain alone is more than the value difference between the two cars. By the time you swap the front ends or add a hood for clearance, and get the harness and K-member situated, it will cost more money than just buying an LS1 car outright.

Now, an obvious caveat to this is if you start with a V6 car. They are so cheap and the resale value is so bad that its worth swapping one of those. However, since you already have a Z-28, you'd be money ahead to just swap cars.
