Advice on project car I have a 77 Nova that im about to finish restoring so im gettin ready to start building a Engine.etc..Right now it is a straight 6..Im debating on what im gonna do motor wise..i have been thinking on gettin a 350 a strokin it 2 a 383..i would love it if you guys could help w/ any suggestions about anything u recommend i should do to the nova..thx

Heres some pics of my nova these pics are from when i bought that car when i was 15 for $600...All the rust has been taken car of next is the int..and im guting the car and dropin tranny/driveshaft this week prob..

hey man my friend has a dragged out 76 nove with a sbc that runs 7.70s for sale. the body is in much nicer shape than yours and you could swap over all the interior and everything into this car. he wants $3000 for it. send me a pm if your interested. we live in jacksonville florida

I've seen worse.. As long as you have a plasma cutter and a mig welder I don't see any problems with your resto.
Motorwise the lighter the better. I always want to do something with the new chevy straight six motor that goes in their trucks. That would leave plenty of room for a turbo and an intercooler. It would be cutting edge different and very fast.
