And im assuming that the larger of the two compresion lines is the inlet from the tank?

My AC Delco unit had all the lines labled, but the one in the center is the inlet, the outer is return. As far as I know all of the lines are quick disconnect, but I just used F.I. rated hose and clamps. That probably dosent help much does it? Also, for the outlet, I used a piece of quick disconnect line and cut it to about 3 in long, stuck it in the outlet, then just did the old hose and hose clamps thing from there. It's worked fine thus far, about a year. This is probably not the best looking way to do it, but figured I'd try to help.

We include this "double dong" tube with each filter/regulator we sell here. That way, you have 3 of the same fittings making it easy to go onto with high pressure hose, GM quick disconnects, or aftermarket AN conversion fittings.

Mine from S&P came with a stailess steel exit adapter, basically 3/8 pipe with a female 6an fitting on the end towards the motor, and a flared piece that snaps in place on the filter. $22.00 at S&P.

or goto any good autoparts store.

they usually have 3", 6" and 12"+ lengths of the hardline with the male quick connect flare at each end.

i prefer the OEM style route since they're plentiful everywhere... unlike aftermarket solutions... helps when you plan to drive the car on long roadtrips

Speartech do you sell those short "dongs".

Also isnt the 5/16" male line in the centre the return and the one closer to outer edge the 3/8" inlet?

1 more quicky, have u ever used the "dong" and normal efi hose and hose clamps with success?

Advance/shucks/krager/parts america has the quick connects and flared tubes (what you guys are calling dongs.. lol) just sitting on the shelf.

locally, they're next to the "help!" stuff... yellow/clear packaging.

i bought the tube and had the ends brazed onto my fuel line... and some nice crimped OE looking hoses made with the quick connects.

This is correct. I made the post, then went and looked under the car just to make sure and it turns out I was wrong at first, so I then edited the post, but it didnt take. Who knows.

i went to several auto parts stores, NAPA, pep-boys, Autozone, Lappens, and indy auto parts. None of them had anything that could connect into the female quick disconnect of the fuel filter. They all told me it was a part I would have to order direct from GM. What I want is something that will connect to the female quick disconnect on my fuel rail, and the female quick disconnect of my filter and let me run a fuel line to connect them.. What is the NAPA part number if NAPA has them?

ive seen a tranny quick disconnect at kragen and napa, but im not sure if those will work. they are only 5/16 so they will only work on return lines.

I got a 3/8" (12" was the longest I could find) from NAPA. I'll see if I can find the receipt and give you the number.

I think the part number is 730-4936. It was $13.49. You'd have to double-check with them when ordering that this "connector" is the fuel line. The receipt is vague but I'm pretty sure this is it.
