Default 98 pcm/harness with 99+ fuel system?

I purchased my engine package with a street and performance 98 pcm/harness and the fuel rails were converted to the single vette style. I picked up a 99 f-body fuel pump assembly to go with this. Does the type of fuel system affect the pcm/wiring at all? Or are they pretty much seperate?

98 and 99 f-cars have the same fuel system, other than tank, both are mechanical returnless systems with a 58# rail pressure.

I've heard that the 99+ fuel level sending unit works on a different ohm range than the 98.

What are you using for a guage cluster?

correct the fuel level sender is different between the 98 and 99 computers, so if your using a stock cluster.

im actually going to try and use a 98 vette cluster....i have a few headaches ahead of me

i know the 98 f-bodies have a different fuel pump assembly than the 99+ though because it has an extra line coming off of it

Yeah 98 sending unit reads different impedance than 99+ for the fsu.

ok so let me get this straight...the sending unit ties into the pcm then? If it just plugs into the instrument cluster i should be ok.
Is this something a tuner can take care of maybe?
