Default Grand Sport Update: See the entire photo album.

We've been so busy working on the car lately that I haven't had much time to put together a complete album documenting all the phases of the project. Well I finally got off my duff...

If you use the slideshow, set the speed on at least 8 seconds so you'll have time to read the captions. The images get a bit too small on the slideshow so the best way to view the album is to click on each picture individually.

Enjoy!

Default Rear tires..

Those rear tires look really familiar..Are they the 295/45 18 off of the Lightnings? All in all the GS is a beautiful car! Very clean and nice attention to detail!!

Yes, they are the Lightning tires. It was my only option. I just hope they keep making these tires or I'm screwed.

Very nice! Do you have any specs on the chassis? wheelbase, overall length, width etc. I would love to slide that frame under my car.
thanks,

Bill

No, but that's a good idea. I should know all that...

This chassis will slide under any 63-67 Corvette and with slight modifications, any 68-82.

That is freakin sexy, especially the fabrication of the frame, and like you said in one of your pic headers, it is kinda sucky to cover up such a beautiful piece of fabrication .....

Hankook makes performance tires in that size or Nitto makes a 305/45 18 that the Lightning guys like, FYI.

That is my favorite LS1 conversion car right now. You guys did one hell of a job on the entire project. I hope I get to see it in person someday!
