I'm close to being finished my 6.0L LQ9 install in my 95 pickup (been saying that for a while now) and need to figure out a belt tensioner. I've installed the AC compressor from the 95 truck using a TPI camaro bracket (modified). I can't locate a gen III tensioner that applies force at the right angle, though. Here are some pictures, does anyone have any ideas??
The thing on there right now is an 03 vette tensioner with the pulley off the 88 camaro tensioner (smooth).

Alternate belt path (not preferred since PS pump only gets 25% wrap this way:

Ok, problem seems to be solved. Mounting the truck tensioner rotated 180 degrees seems to do the job very well. Had to grind down the back of the tensioner some to make this work and need to recess one of the water pump to block bolts into the water pump casting some. Should be relatively easy now.
