3.8v6 rx7 has anyone attempted this not looking to build a race car just something a little more reliable than the rotary. any suggestions for motor mounts appreciated. going to pull the old engine and trans and clean up the engine bay. may try to fab mounts myself but curious to see if anyone has seen such a beast.

I have seen 3.8L Buick and 4.3L Chevy V6s in 1st and 2nd gen RX7s, but those were both engines that were previously carbed, not like the Series II 3800. My main conflict with something like this is the LS1 is actually lighter than the 3.8s and 3800s. If you do it more power to you, but if it were me I would stick with a LS1.
