Default PCV idea

Isn't there a vacuum condition in the oil pan? If so why not run the post PCV valve line into the oil pan instead of the throttle body?
As I mentioned in a post (which no one responded to but the guys on the Australian Holden forum did ) I have two dipstick holes so I wouldn't have to even do any drilling/tapping.

no, theres not a vacuum condition in the oil pan.

matter of fact, its usually a slight pressure.

the oil pan area, valley, and under the valve covers is the same area. that would give the same venting as the handle in a milk jug.... its just a connection from the top of one area to the bottom of the same area.

for a street car, you need to actively pull the gases from the crankcase... the byproduct gasses of combustion are semi acidic, and need to be removed unless you plan on changing the oil every 1000-3000 miles (nomatter what type of oil it is).

now if it was vented to the atmosphere (like race engines) no pressure builds up because it leaves thru the breathers......
but fresh air is never pulled in either... the vapors just sit there.... but since its a race engine, the oil gets changed ebough that it doesnt matter.
