Carbed LS1 Question Does anyone know if using the edelbrock carb kit for an LS1 will let you use the stock instruments in a '69 Camaro or do you still need to convert everything to aftermarket electrical gauges?
the only thing controlled by the edelbrock kit is the tach. its a standard v8 signal that normally works with a signal from an autometer tach.
if your stock tach runs off this signal, then yes. if not, MSD, mallory and autometer make tach adapters that might work in your application.
if your other gauges work now, you just need to get the appropriate adapters to fit your sensors and lines for your gauges into the block and head of the lsx.
id think you would just need some metric to pipe adapters, but i could be wrong.
