V6 to LS1

V6 to LS1 I have a 96 Camaro convertible V6 that I am converting to LS1 power. I am an auto tech with over 20 years wrenching,and have swapped LS1 motors(kid ran 99 T/A out of oil!) in and out of a 99 T/A. Is there a conversion "kit" for this made by anyone or is it a piece by piece job? Motor mounts,engine wiring harness,computer,fuel pump,and all the other "little" things? Is there a specific thread or place I should look to find/reference these things? Any help/information greatly appreciated!
Best thing to do is get a complete k-member and engine with wiring and underhood portion of the wiring harness. The LS1 k-members will bolt up to the '96 model. The dash harness is a little different as well, might be worth an entire 99+ harness swap.

Thanks for the info guys! Zach you are a wild man ! Remind me of myself.....guy installs ls1 at home in the garage....shade tree style....lol....j/k .Thanks fer the pics,awesome job for at home!Very innovative and ultimately slick. I recently(last week) built a Pontiac 400 in my dirt floored garage using my engine lift and some wood blocks !Running awesome ! Anyways great job,I noticed you're smiling in most of the pics(can't imagine why !).Good documentation of the process,great pix.Thanks!!!
