TH350 guys got a quick question...
. What are the torque specs on the pan bolts on this tranny? And do I need to use some silicone on the pan side? Thanks in advance....

You can also check for true flat-ness of the unti by placing it upside down on a known flat surface - your mom's marble counter-top, a Craftsman or Snap-on tool cart, etc. and take a feeler gauge and see if it slips underneath...or if you can see daylight in any places.
i've had the same problems with a th-350 and a c6, i tried silicone, weather strip adhesive, etc., it doesn't matter, if the vehicle sits for more than a day it leaks like the exxon valdez... fel pro brand gasket. this is gasket ONLY. not a filter/gasket kit.
comes in a big cardboard box like all the rest of there gaskets.
i use the nasty brown permatex, and let it sit overnight.
barely torque things down then go back and snug them.
i do this with a 1/4 ratchet.
my only problem now is a front pump seal. OUCH!
I like to nip the bolts up in my own little sequence, just nip tight, so you dont strip any threads and they dont rattle loose.
After about 1/2-1 hours of operation re-nip the bolts up a touch tighter as they will be a little loose after heat.
Like anything that gets hot you need to re-tighten 2-3 times and then your normally right.

prolly only 1-2pd ft per time, but enough to matter.
That won't work with this pan....
