Default So many pink wires

I am working on my factory harness. It is out of 2002 silverado.
it seems pretty simple. Mostly already wired up and stand alone.

I understand
orange is always hot
pink hot in start and run
purple hot in crank for starter.

But there are about 20 pink wires.
Do I fuse them seperately.... power them with a relay.... tie them in 3 or 4 large bundles and then fuse them???

Also, on my pinout, number 9 on red bundle is the "fuel pump" dark green/ white. Is assume this is going to my fuel pump relay, but does it supply the 12v or the ground to close the relay (so I know what to put on the other side of relay).

Any help is appreciated.

I just used a relay off of an ignition source and then i fused them, just in case something shorts, you dont want it melting down your car

The dark green/white wire gets power from the pcm to energize the fuel pump relay.

each one of those pink wires is for a different function... on my harness, a 2002 fbody one, there were several pink wires too.. examples:

Bank 1 Coil power and injector power
Bank 2 Coil power and injector power
MAF and O2 power
Transmission power

ect...

they all should be fused separately with a appropriate sized fuse

The correct way to do this is group the pink wires together based on the circuit groups the original vehicle was designed for (INJ 1, ECM 1, etc) and fuse them according to the way GM intended.

umm, yea. i totally agree 100%

and since each pink wire is seperate for that reason, you end up with several groups of one... lol

no two of thoes wires should goto the same fuse.

The fuel pump relay puts out 12 volts (at least on a '98). It's the only control signal that doesn't put out an active low.
