Another speed sensor issue?
Another speed sensor issue? All you conversion folks running non standard transmissions what are you using for speed sensors?
I found a few sensors but they are hall effect style ( three wire) when the LS1 uses a Magnetic reluctor style (two wire).
Has anyone used a 3 wire hall effect sensor and had good results?

I asked this exact same question and was told to use the reluctor wheel and pick-up from a company called Jags That Run (JTR). This goes between the propshaft flange and pinion flange. I`m using a Tremec TKO11 in a Ford(Mercury) Capri behind the LS1.

Yes, go to www.jagsthatrun.com - scroll down the page and look for "reluctor wheel". About $75/100 I think
Are you running a long tail or short tail 350? If it is a short tail you can take out the gear and install the metal reluctor for a 700r4 onto the output shaft of the 350. Get the reluctor and vss sensor from an 88-92 chevy fullsize pickup with an automatic, then hook the vss wires up as you normally would.

I am running a short tail.
Do you know the cost or any part numbers?
