Ive never pitched a KIA sideways in a turn
I think they handle pretty nice
Interior is much better than a KIA but all nissans have that corny silver plastic
KIA buttons feel like they are going to fall off, the 350's felt good.
I definently wouldnt pay 35k for one.
They have an aluminum rear subframe, it looks pretty stout but not 400 ft lbs stout.

They share no interior panels and no exterior sheetmetal or glass. They are not twins, they share a common powertrain and chassis architecture. They have as much in common as the Chrysler Crossfire and the Mercedes Benz SLK320.
Do some research before spouting off about that which you have no knowledge of.

Anytime you can throw a nissan motor/trans into the garbage is an excellent swap.

I might be of a little help here. I test drove an e46 m3, a g35 coupe, a 350z, and a c5 vette all in one day. To be brief, overall i liked the m3 and then it was a close tie between the vette and 350z. I like the look interior and handling of the 350z better than the vette but obviously the ls1 is much more appealing than the vq in the 350z. The g35 feels much different than the 350z. It feels alot heavier and slightly more sluggish at turn in with less feedback than the z. Also, in that g35, you sit way too high up. In a sports car, I enjoy sitting down low.
The 350z was the most confidence inspiring of the bunch. The m3 can feel nervous when you are pushing it to the limit with the front end feeling very light. The vette felt buckled down except when the at speed on a bumpy track. On the other hand, the 350z had the tautest suspension that was very rough on the highways of SE Michigan, but it also had the best handling on the track and never lost its composure no matter what I threw at it.
I would love to have a 350z hardtop with an ls2 in it. Just to see what it would look like, I made a model of a 350z roadster with an ls1. I'll post pics latter

Good wright up!
It is very confidence inspiring,i can seriously speed up way past 100mph and feel confident enough to talk on my cell phone(which i won't irresponsibly do by the way)....I speed up like that in any other car and i'm close to having a heart attack.
Its funny i don't really get offended when people call the 350z ugly...its one of those cars that looks so differant and has pretty damn daring styling that you either hate it or most likely love it...its all in the eye of the beholder anyway. As far as interior not the greatest but definatly tasteful IMO.
O yea as far as this threrad is concerned if anyone wants to donate there nice v8 ls1 and see what the end result will be i'm willing to install it on my 350Z!

but seriously, LS1/T56 isnt much heavier that the 350Z powertrain
