Is your conversion a daily driver?
1998 LS1/(no trans) from Corvette (unknown milage): everything included (coil packs, all belt-driven accessories, harness and computer) for $3500 plus shipping.
2004 LS1/T56 from GTO (10k miles): everything included (coil packs, all belt-driven accessories, harness and computer), plus driveshaft for $6325 shipped.
I think I'm going to purchase the '04 GTO package.
Oscar - cool man - I'm sure that car has surprised a few folks running like that! Looks pretty mellow - but it moves!
2001 LS1/T56 from Corvette (47k miles): everything included (coil packs, all belt-driven accessories, harness and computer) for $7000 plus shipping.
So, so far I've been quoted:
1998 LS1/(no trans) from Corvette (unknown milage):
$3500 plus shipping.
2004 LS1/T56 from GTO (10k miles):
$6325 shipped.
2001 LS1/T56 from Corvette (47k miles):
$7000 plus shipping.
And yes - you're right - those prices are very high compared to the majority I see on eBay.
$4-5.5K for a low mileage (under 30K) complete takeout 2001+ LS1/T56 setup is about the norm on eBay. There are other sources as well. Use the search button.
'99/'00 command slightly less due to not have an LS6 intake and slightly less flowing cylinder heads (5-10rwhp less)
I would avoid the '98's as the coil packs/valvecovers are different and the computer/wiring harness is also. Some parts are not interchangeable with the '99+ LS1's. In addition the early years of any new engine should be avoided since they always make revisions in the later years to improve upon design.
email me about an LS1/T56 I have you may be interested in: gnx7@hotmail.com
I went 12.39@124mph at LACR uncorrected with no traction in 1st thru 4th on R compound road race tires. It is my daily driver as mentioned and gets low 20mpg on the highway.
