I emailed about a ls1 vesion of the kit for pre '98 sbc to fit the audi trans...

I have seen the engine bay....

Not the easiest swap but possible. Harder than rx7...

Since GM designed it to be a transverse engine as well as longitudinal and there are many different accessory brackets vette, f-bod, truck. flip over the alternator (rx swap trick) and other such tricks.. Pusher fans I'm sure I can figure out the smart way to do it and maybe sell my R&D to grannysspeedshop or something....

Aftermarket S4 catback....

Certainly not an overnight swap, and an A4 might be a stretch because they used inline 4s, V6s, and tiny V8s (S4) that are dwarfed by LS1s. If I personally were to do a LS1 Audi swap I would pick something that used the 5 cyl engine since they are longer and you can turn the intake on the LS1 around. There was a guy swapping a LT1 into an Audi 5000 and the throttle body was getting in the way. But hey if you have the ***** and the knowhow I say go for it.

The audi v8's have 90mm bore spacing.. 3.54" vs the SBC/LT1/Ls1 4.40....

LS1 external 27" long.... Not worried about width... A4.2 20.5" long...

Cant push the trans back and use a shorter shaft on the quattro...
I would probably have to relocate the radiator as in a rear (underbody) mount radiator...

Reverse the intake or sheet metal....

Keep in mind this wont be going in a a newer audi nor any of their fanciest models.. Probably a late 90's with a tired 2.8 or 1.8t basically something I got cheap due to a bad engine.

The accessories would be at or farther forward of the radiators position.... Like water pump below the hood latch.... Maybe even eliminate the upper section of the core support and make a lower profile tubular cross bar to cross over from the headlights with the latch welded to it... I dont want to pin the hood because its either r*ce or a givaway to a modded car...

So you still might see it but you also still might see another RX7....

My engine build will be unique too.......
