fuel tank baffles
1. how do i sump the tank (i know i have to cut it) top to bottom, half way up, size of holes around the bottom, etc? photos would be great
2. does the return line from the c-5 regulator go into the sump area or a different part of the tank? ( should i drill and mount a tube into the sending unit or get the tank with the extra vent lines at the forward corners for the return line)?
3. its a pre unleaded vented tank (through the cap i guess) is that going to give me any problems? (fumes, delivery, overpressurization, etc)
4. cant i just single flare all the lines (fuel rail included) and use an fittings everywhere? ( i'm an aircraft mech and can get that stuff for real real cheap)
5. and thanx for your support joel

I also built a tank for an offroad application and baffled it and put a small sump in it (about 1" deep and about 5" square), but I could starve the external Walbro with that set-up too. Again, I couldn't build the sump big enough because I was worried abut ground clearance.
For the offroad car, I ended up making an external sump that was always kept full by a inexpensive boost pump. I was about 1 liter in size. I plumbed it with 3/8" aluminum line and AN flares made with a Parker tool. Works well.
For the lowered production car, I just had to keep more that a quarter tank in it. What a PITA.
